Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is included in the price of my cottage rental? We include the following in the price: towels and bed linen, all gas and electricity charges, a starter basket of logs and Wi Fi.
  2. What are your arrival and holiday durations? Kirkview Cottage bookings start on a Friday and are for 7 night blocks.
  3. When and how do I check in? You can check in to Kirkview from 4pm on the day of arrival, the keys will be found in a key safe, the location of and code to which, will be given to you on payment of your final balance.
  4. When do I have to check out? Check out is 10am on the day of departure.
  5. How much is it to rent Kirkview Cottage? The prices vary by season, please see the price and availability page to check your dates.
  6. Can I make a provisional booking? We cannot accept provisional bookings, all bookings must be secured with a non refundable deposit of 15% or £100 whichever is greater.
  7. When will my balance be due? Your balance will be due no later than 55 days prior to your arrival date.
  8. What payment methods do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard and Bacs (by prior arrangement).

  10. Can I bring my dog? Two well behaved dogs are allowed at Kirkview free of charge.
